I’m in the process of creating a graphic to capture what learning should look like as we grapple with the questions of educational reform and the educational landscape of the 21st century learner.  My vision has the learner at the center or hub of the network (school/teachers, community, peers, family, personal learning network, online/virtual learning, experts and specialists, global community, and blogs/social media).   All parts of the network would be utilized and leveraged with technology as the means by which the learner connects with the network. I envision a recursive relationships (arrows) between the learner and the network.  The learner is both consuming or integrating with all of these elements and producing/generating with an impact on the network.  Through reflecting, question, thinking, analyzing, generating, and innovating the learner will communicate, collaborate, create, connect, contribute, care, captivate, and challenge.

Please compare version 6 and 7.  I think 7 might be it!
